Can I wear glasses 4 months after rhinoplasty?

Its been 4 months since I had open rhinoplasty and now I am concern about wearing glasses because I have prescription lenses and if I don’t wear them it might cause problems in my eyesight ,so I would like to know whether I can wear my prescription glasses 4 months after open rhinoplasty your honest opinion will really help me

I would allow my patients to wear glasses as soon as 6 weeks after rhinoplasty, so it is most likely fine for you to wear glasses 4 months after your surgery.  It is always best to check with your particular surgeon though, since your surgeon will have the most information about you and your procedure.

Hi there, to find out specifics about care after your recovery from surgery it is usually best to contact your surgeon. Your surgeon will know your nose the best and know what was done during surgery, so he or she will be able to give you the best advice for your healing. 
Having said that, now that you are 4 months after your surgery, you are probably okay to wear glasses. Your bones should have healed well and the skin over the bridge of the nose should not be as puffy as in the early period after surgery. 
Some choose eyeglasses that put minimal pressure over the bridge after their surgery or wear their cast under the glasses when working in a computer.

I would suggest you share your concern with your surgeon, as he/she knows the details of your procedure and would know if that's okay. Nonetheless, most patients would be fine wearing glasses 4 months after a rhinoplasty.
