Swelling and dissolving stitches. How long does this take to rectify itself?

Chemosis can happen after eyelid surgery. Sometimes it gets better if treated with steroid eye drops. The stiches will take 2-3 weeks to dissolve depending on the type of suture that was used.Hope this helps,Dr. Gus Diaz
