Question

Today was my first day back at work (semi) tightness in chest, hard to breath, lightheaded and more yellow discharge. I notified my ps of the dark bruise on the side and had an after hour visit with him to be sure it wasn’t a hematoma. He cleared me on that just not sure if my symptoms today are normal

Your picture and your symptoms are both concerning.  That discharge three days after surgery looks like pus.  You need to see your surgeon right away so he or she can determine whether you need cultures and antibiotics.  Your shortness of breath is clearly not normal three days after surgery and yellow flags should be flying to make sure you do not have a deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.  It is even possible to suffer a collapsed lung (pneumothorax) if the dissection went awry.  If you remain symptomatic this many days since your posting, you need to get to the emergency room.

Let your plastic surgeon know of your symptoms again ( you are experiencing several concerning symptoms). Generally, respiratory symptoms are always a serious concern. Best to rule out potential dangerous complications such as pneumonia or pulmonary embolism (this usually involves urgent evaluation in an emergency room environment).
