Question

I have had multiple areas of wound dehiscence. Would a wound vac be better in this case? It feels like there’s tunneling under the opened wound and this will continue to open up. Looking back I would have not had this procedure. What else can I do to assist with the healing? My PS keeps saying to the wounds and they will heal but it seems like every week another area opens up.

Hello dear! 
These procedures tend to lasts up to 8 month to be completely healed, the tissue is still recovering from the intervention. Allow the process to run by itself and don't worry, because apparently based on the pictures, the wounds are healing as they should and it is all part of the process. Personally I wouldn't recommend a wound vac if everything looks fine like it does in the pictures above.
You made the right decision so don't worry about these difficulties because the outcome will be better. If you still want to go with the wound vac don't forget to inform your surgeon before making any decision.
