Question

Hello, I got a beard transplant operation 15 days ago. I am not glad with the results (the beard line should be higher and there are still gaps etc ). I know that 6 months at least needed for a safer second operation. However, I am really restricted about time and have to solve the problem now. If I make the secondary corrective transplant done now to UNTOUCHED areas, does the operation harm the follicles which are transplanted 15 days ago ?

If your doctor missed certain areas, you can easily give your doctor a call and express your concerns.  It may be just as easy to go back and add grafts to the missing areas.  You will not know if your doctor would be willing to do this unless you ask. Some doctors do this.  Some doctors do not.

Thnaks for your photo.  I would avoid touch ups right now.  For one, the follicles are starting to integrate and you wouldn't want to traumatize the regional tissues.  Two, you won't know how it looks for 6 months minimum.  At 6 months to a year, touch ups can easily be performed with very little downtime. I prefer NeoGraft for all of my hair cases.

A second beard transplant can be done outside the area previously transplants within a month or two. You should, of course, clear this with your doctor. I would not go into the previous transplanted area at the time of the new transplants.

it is understandable that you don't want to wait. However, it is best for you to wait at least six months because you may not see the follicles from the surgery but they may be there and they need time to grow. If you do hair transplant any sooner you may overlap with the previous transplant and effect the outcome from both surgeries.
