I feel my nose was over scooped I don’t know if this’ll go away in a couple of months or if this is my final result... do you think it looks normal or you agree that it was over scooped
Answer: Over-scooped nose? Rhinoplasty results You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. Right now, concentrate on other things you like to do and let your nose and under eyes take the time to heal. It can take up a year for your final results. I hope this helps.

Answer: Over-scooped nose? I got a rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago. #rhinoplasty #nosejob Thank you for your question. I am sorry you are having these concerns about your surgery. At 3 weeks post-operative, however, you will still have quite a bit of swelling. This swelling can be focused on the tip of the nose, which can give a 'scooped' appearance at this stage. It will take anywhere from 6 months to 1 year for this all to resolve. As the swelling subsides, I think you will notice that the shape of the nose improves dramatically. Be sure to follow up with your surgeon, and follow his/her post-operative instructions. I hope that this helps! -David Gilpin

Answer: Rhinoplasty Recovery You are still early in your recovery period and the nose is expected to be quite swollen at this point. The swelling during this time is rarely symmetric. One side will always resolve more quickly than the other. The majority of the swelling will resolve in 3-6 months, and will continue to resolve as your nose heals for up to 1-2 years. You have not reached your final shape as the nose will continue to heal and reduce in size for up to a year. Once it does reach its final shape you may be more pleased with the appearance of your nose.
