Dear Shoesa99,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast lift surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
I discourage patients from passing any judgements in the early post operative phase. There will be significant changes as healing progresses, swelling and bruising resolves. With regards to your specific question, as tissues settle and stretch it is highly likely that the concerning contour deformity will resolve as well.As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).
At 4 days post op it is normal just give it time to settle be patient and continue to follow up with your PS to discuss your concerns.
Hello dear!!Thanks for your question and provided information. You are still early on healing process. Right now you might have one breast bigger than the other, feel swollen, have pleats around the areola and also have bruises, this can happen for the first 3 to 4 months, and you can expect to see your final results after 6 months. What you are experiencing is normal. Please, be patient, but if the situation doesn't improve over time, I suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
Thank you for your questions and your photo. You are still very early in your recovery, because of this you should schedule an appointment to see your surgeon and address any concerns you may have with them. Good Luck.
Thank you for your question and your photo. You are still very early after your surgery. If you have questions or concerns concerning your breasts you should schedule an appointment with your surgeon and address these concerns then. Good Luck.
Thank you for your question and photo. Without preoperative photos it is not possible to tell why you have this indentation but I suspect it is related to areolar preoperative size and position. In any case the indentation will likely improve considerably with time and I suspect you will have a very satisfactory result.
