How long should I wait between my rhinoplasty and Brazilian butt lift procedures?

Hi I’m considering doing rhinoplasty and BBl separately. Knowing that each needs a different post op laying position, which one do you recommend me to do first ? And how long after can I have a second procedure ? For insurance if I do rhinoplasty I need to lay upright , how many months after is it safe to bbl which requires me to be on my stomach at all times ?

In our experience, the most common complication of rhinoplasty surgery is a nose bleed. We have seen this anywhere within the first 21 days after surgery. For that reason, I would wait 3 to 4 weeks in between rhinoplasty and BBL. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

I would suggest doing the BBL first and waiting  around 6 weeks and then having the Rhinoplasty. This will allow you to lie on the your back and, therefore, your butt to have the Rhinoplasty. Also, in having the Rhinoplasty as the second stage , you won't have to be concerned with the anesthesiologist when he applies the mask to your face and possible injuring the nose. You should consult with a Board Certified plastic surgeon with lots of experience with BBL and Rhinoplasty. Good luck!

Probably best to wait at least a month between two general anesthetics and two surgical procedures. Rhinoplasty is one of the more difficult procedures to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery, so choose your surgeon wisely, based on extensive experience producing natural results.

Each provider will have their own view in regards to postoperative protocols.
Some plastic surgeons don’t want you to lay on your back for months after BBL and other providers don’t care what you do.
It’s probably not a good idea to be put in a face down position after a rhinoplasty procedure within the first 3 to 4 weeks.
By six weeks things should be relatively well healed.
Some providers may want you to wait months.
I suggest focusing on provider selection and getting quality assessment regarding your candidacy for the procedures in the first place.
During consultations you can ask each provider what their thoughts are.
