Hi- Yes, truSculpt id can provide noninvasive cellulite reduction and skin tightening for the knees, thighs and buttocks. Typically a minimum of (2) treatments is recommended depending on the severity of the symptoms and the goals you are trying to achieve. Best of luck!
A combination approach would give you the most improvement. Cellfina itself is the best treatment we have for cellulite but works best in combination with Sculptra, and body treatments like Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra, Cellutone/Zwave. A VASER HI DEF procedure can be done for more contouring and smoothing, if you're a candidate. Cellulite can't be cured, but can be improved with treatments and maintenance. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
A single treatment using truSculpt iD can help to reduce the appearance of cellulite on the thighs, but the effect is not permanent (the length of the effect will vary from patient to patient). While truSculpt iD causes permanent fat cell destruction, it does not treat the connective tissue holding the skin, and the appearance of cellulite will return over time. truSculpt iD should not be used to treat the buttocks.Best wishes.
While trusculpt ID may reduce cellulite, I would recommend the non-invasive RF: Venus Legacy over Trusculpt ID if reduction of fat/adipose is not the primary concern. If there are areas of cellulite and excess fat, Trusculpt ID can be helpful. If one is trying to get more muscle mass, then the Trusculpt FLEX is a better consideration on the buttocks, thighs, or abdomen.
While TruSculpt ID can help reduce the appearance of cellulite for a short period of time, there are other methods designed to specifically treat cellulite. At this point, I would recommend scheduling an in-person visit with an experienced provider to go over your treatment goals and discuss the best way to achieve those results.
We use Trusculpt ID for fat reduction and although it is not approved for cellulite removal. We will occasionally use it for cellulite depending the kind of the cellulite the person has. For cellulite there are different technologies like cellfina, velashape etc which vary in efficacy and longevity. It is important get a consultation from an expert to assess your exact needs. Best Wishes
