Does the sun affect my skin/face 3 days post needling with PRP...I am still so red
Answer: Microneedling & redness--Contact your Doctor for after care and add prp and lasers This is tough to answer without pictures, but sun protection is essential after microneedling. I find that prp after microneedling helps improve redness. I recommend following up with your Doctor about after care after your microneedling treatment. I always combine microneedling lasers for best outcomes. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Sun exposure after microneedling Sun exposure is not recommended after microneedling, especially when your face is still red. Use a good quality sun block even if you are not in the sun. Exposing your face to the sun is never a good idea since it will increase your wrinkles, damage your DNA, make the skin dull and incourage hyperpigmentation.

Answer: Sun protection and microneedling. Realistically if you have receive a small amount of UV it will not affect your microneedling PRP procedure 3 days after. However because your skin pigment cells maybe 'active' after trauma, prolonged exposure is not recommended, especially if energy based microneedling was used. Follow the guidelines as specified by your specialist, and your skin will heal up just fine. Dr Davin Lim.
