Question

Done for acne scars. Collagen P.I.N used. 0.5 used on forehead, 1.5 on cheeks, side of face 1.0. Dermatologist recommended it. Licensed esthetician did it (12yr exp.) @ the office. Post tx plan: induction therapy products (makers of the p.i.n) including serum q1h day of tx, then days following use cleanser bid, apply phaz serum, apply dewet moisturizer & intensive care cream for bruising. Sunscreen primer prn. What else can I do to speed up heeling? This looks terrible & I'm so upset.

I recommend following up with a Doctor for after care recommendations. This can be due to the histamine release with a microneedling treatment. With microneedling, I always add prp and lasers to get the best outcomes. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

What you are experiencing is very common. Using PRP during your microneedling will always help speed up the healing and leave you with optimal results.
I would recommend an epidermal repair cream, such as, ZO Revitatrol. It is very calming to the skin and helps repair and heal after more aggressive procedures.
