Are my breasts tuberous? What is the best way to correct them? (Photos)

Question

Wondering if my breasts would be classified as tuberous and if so what would be the preferred method to correct them? I’m not happy with the shape or size, I would like more volume and a rounder shape. My breasts haven’t grown since I was 14 (I’m now 21). My nipples are also very flat unless I’m cold so wondering if there is a way to correct that as well, preferably without implants As the shape is more of a concern for me than size.

Tuberous or constricted breasts is syndrome of incomplete development of the lower poles of the breast. This leads to tight, non-sagging breasts with the nipples close to the bottom of the breasts in the most severe form, or a high inframammary fold in a less severe variant. You have neither.

While you don't have a tuberous breast you do have some laxity in your skin envelope.  I'd suggest a dual plane breast augmentation.  For the nipple projection you might consider a filler or fat graft.

From what I can see in your photos, your breasts do not show the typical features of tuberous breasts, which is good news. To achieve the rounder, fuller shape you describe, an implant is the most reliable option, because it creates and holds a round contour in a way that your own soft tissue cannot. I understand you would prefer to avoid implants, but at your starting volume they are what will actually deliver the change you are describing, and a small degree of lifting can be added during the same operation if the examination shows it would improve the shape. Flat nipples can also be corrected at the same time.

It doesn’t look that your breasts are tuberous, at least based on these photos. Implant augmentation, subfascial or submuscular would create fuller, rounder breasts. Do not go too big! Good luck.

Your breasts are not tuberous. The position of your breasts on the chest wall is appropriate. Also, the nipple-areola complex is higher than the inframammary fold. The shape is acceptable. If you want more volume then you can undergo fat transfers. Fat transfers are usually good for 1 cup size change. You can also change the shape by adding more fat on top of the breasts than on the bottom.
