5 months post rhinoplasty, can a revision help raise my bridge? (photos)

I'm 23 years old, Female, I had my rhinoplasty 5 months ago, I hate my front view, my doctor shaved down the hump and narrowed the bridge, I feel like my eyes became uglier and my face is so flat especially the area between my eyes, is it because the bridge became too low? Or because it was narrowed? Should I have a revision rhinoplasty and make my bridge higher? Please help I'm devastated

Thank you for your question and photos. I’m sorry that you’re unsatisfied with your rhinoplasty results, though they look favorable in the photos you provided. When recovering from rhinoplasty, it's important to remember that the nose can continue to change throughout the following year. Being that your surgery was only five months ago, you may have some residual swelling that can impact the ability to analyze your final result. It would be best to wait until a full year has passed before deciding to make further changes to your appearance.

Being that each subsequent nose surgery becomes more complex due to the loss of structural support, scar tissue, and other factors, the importance of experience, expertise, and artistry cannot be overstated. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to review your surgical history and discuss your concerns with you to help you decide on the best course of action.

I know you are not happy with your results, but in my opinion there is nothing terrible going on. You had a dramatic change, for the better in my opinion, and sometimes it takes time to get used to your new nose. Try to sit tight till your anniversary when you will be seeing a final result. Thank you for your question! Rhinoplasty can change patients facial appearance, thus you might see some difference. Revision rhinoplasty can be done at least 8 month after the primary surgery. Nose tip can be pulled a little. Take care!
