Can I keep the fat from liposuction for another day for lipofilling?

I need your help. I'm going to do liposuction on my abdomen+lipofiling+butt implants. Is it possible to keep that fat for another day for lipofilling? ( i want to keep 5 ml (fat) for my cosmetologist, i want from her to do it for my nasolabial and under eyes)

Unfortunately, no. The suctioned fat will not survive to another day in a predictable manner to be used for lipofilling.

Great question. I am sorry to disappoint, but fat cannot be stored for another provider. Your surgeon should be able to perform fat transfer to nasolabial folds. Please visit a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed surgical plan to achieve your desired results.

I am sorry, buy is this a serious question?!! Do you really think that someone who is a highly trained plastic surgeon, who can do the liposuction and body contouring is not capable of transfering 5ml of that fat in to your nasolabial areas and you need to see a "Cosmetologist" for that? I am very disapointed to even see this question!

fat can be re-injected on another day, that is not true.  we store fat and then use it at subsequent surgeries or procedures, but it cannot be given to another provider to do so.  Best, Dr. Emer.
