I've noticed some yellow discoloration right above my incision that has developed over the past 9 days. It does not look like the other bruising I have on my sides. Is this normal bruising or signs of something else going on? I have a follow up appointment with the Dr tomorrow.

Answer: Yellow discoloration and bruising above incision on stomach Congratulations on your recent surgery! Fromthe picture you provided, it appears as though you have normal bruising as long as you aren't having any other symptoms. As bruises resolve, they can turn from purple to yellowish green. I would definitely recommend double checking with your surgeon tomorrow during your follow up. Good luck with the rest of your recovery!
