Will 40 days we enough time to recover from my BBL in time for my wedding?

Brazilian Butt Lift recovery time is dependent on how the patient’s body reacts to the procedure. Patients usually return to work after a week but you should not sit without the use of cushions for at least two weeks and you must wear a compression garment for several weeks after the procedure. You should wait until at least 2 weeks after the procedure to engage in sexual activity. Swelling and discomfort normally fades at six weeks. After about a month you will be mostly healed and you can get a nice idea of the permanent results after around six months.

Recovery varies from patient to patient, however you will need to avoid sitting directly on your butt for at least one week until you are able to use a booty pillow. I would discuss your situation with your plastic surgeon.

hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question for help you with swelling after lipo and bbl is :- drink a lot of water.-drink green juicy two times per day.-use the second stage gartment with compression.- get 15-20 lymphatic massage and ultrasonic.- eat very well like healthy , low in salt.-rest and just time

I would discuss your situation with your plastic surgeon.  Everyone recovers at their own rate and complications can always occur with any procedure so be careful scheduling your surgery right before your wedding.

Recovery time differs for each patient.  In general the full length of recovery is about two weeks.  Any strenuous activity should be avoided for 6 weeks.   Complete resolution of swelling may take 6 months to a year. Following your board certified PS's post operative protocols may speed up your recovery process.
