Is a BBL possible at 117lbs, 5'6" and with my BMI? (Photos)

A good candidate has enough fat available for transfer in the procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred in a BBL depends on how much fat the patient has to harvest and the amount of space there is to move the fat into. It is recommended for the patient to have a BMI of 30 or less. If you are too thin, a Brazilian Butt Lift may not be possible.

You can have the fat transfer or buttock implants or a combination of both.  These are all routine in my practice.

One of the main considerations when evaluating a patients’ candidacy for Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery is whether they have enough fat stored in their body, so the surgeon can harvest enough fat cells to use during the fat transfer phase. For patients with insufficient fat deposits, the doctor may advice weight gain before the BBL to qualify for the procedure. For a more voluptuous rear, I would suggest gaining at least 20 lbs. prior to your surgery. Consult with an experience plastic surgeon to asses your candidacy for BBL surgery based on your age, weight, skin laxity, body shape and health status, among other factors. Kind regards! As long as you have some fat deposits in lower abdomen, flanks you could expect improvement with BBL. Even few hundred cc of fat grafts, strategically placed,  in combination with liposuction of waist and abdomen will make nice difference. In person evaluation is recommended. Good luck.

Thanks for your photos and questions. I am sure there are going to be a lot of surgeon on here who tell you that you are a "great" candidate for a BBL, but I am going to disagree. You have very limited donor sites for fat to achieve your goals. Some surgeons liposuction fat and then graft it back in with very little processing. They can give you a "500 cc" per side fat graft, but only 100-200 cc of that is viable fat tissue with any chance of longevity. Can you undergo a BBL? Absolutely. But my guess is that if you do, at 6-12 months after surgery, you will be very unhappy with the final results and be out several thousand dollars. The risk is not worth the benefit. Find a surgeon who is honest with you and will tell you the truth rather than a surgeon who is just trying to sign you up for surgery.Best of luck!Dallas R. Based on your photos, you are a good candidate for butt implants, since you don't have enough fat to transfer to accomplish your goal, and I think you'll get very good results. 
l recommend you to make an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for a proper answer and to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

Thank you for your photos and question. Because you’re thin you can only get a mild to moderate improvement and that is only dependent on you gaining weight and using fat from the inner thighs as well. Your other option is to have gluteal implants which I don’t perform. Seek a board certified plastic surgeon who performs many of these procedures, has great reviews and photos, and is an expert in this field.

Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get an entire abdomen, back and waist liposuction with BBL, this is because you have located fat that can be done with lipo.

Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. Also please try to find a board certified plastic surgeon, remember that your safety, always, is going to be first.
