Hello, I had a bbl with lipo 360. I noticed that my lipo is uneven. The procedure was done about 7 weeks ago. It seemed like it got a little better but clearly you can tell my stomach is not smooth. I am asking if I should be concerned with this? What can I do to make it better ? Or will I have to do another lipo once I am completely healed?
Answer: Uneven after lipo Dear jazzygurl727, I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction. This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately. The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. While there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result.I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result. Answer: Uneven lipo? Will I have to do another lipo once I am completely healed? Appears as you are forming postop fibrosis. This needs aggressive massages for 1 month. If no improvement then seek re operation at 6 months postop via lipo re\lease & fibrosis correction surgeries. Fees $6,000+. Best to virtual consult with.....

Answer: Liposuction concerns At seven weeks results are just starting to be representative of final results. It takes three months before your results are final so they will continue to change further. After three months giving it more time is not going to change the outcome. To assess the outcome of a surgical procedure we need to see before and after pictures. If you don’t have before pictures then ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. based on your incisions I’m guessing this was done using VASER. that device requires making large incisions and it also looks like your procedure was done in a fairly aggressive manner potentially with the intent of doing high definition or etching type work? Doing more liposuction after someone’s had aggressive liposuction often does not resolve the problems because the problems are more related to having had too much fat removed than the other way around. At this point you need to wait until your results have matured which will be in three months. Generally plastic surgeons do not do any revision work within the first six months. Liposuction results are permanent and a reversible. Delivering consistent quality level section results is more difficult than most people believe. vetting plastic surgeons properly before having this procedure is the key to finding the most talented and experienced providers. Simply stating that your results are uneven doesn’t really help us understand what the problem is. for example the human body is highly asymmetrical so people are inherently uneven. when posting on real South try to describe what your concerns are as specifically as possible. To me the results look good and appropriate for being seven weeks out for someone who had what looks like aggressive Liposuction with the intent of doing high definition or etching type work. Personally I’m not a big fan of high definition Liposuction but I see nothing inherently wrong with the outcome on your picture. In the future always include before and after pictures. Follow up with your provider and be patient regarding judging your results until they are mature. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
