I had a fat transfer to breast in January. The doctor used SafeLipo to harvest 360 from my thighs. Everything looked good for a few months post-op but then by month four, I felt my skin was loose… feels like a Shar Pei if that makes sense.I noticed a “banana roll” under my bottom around this time too. It appears he harvested from that area and my bottom fell down! My legs had no issues before this surgery. I’m 5’2” and 110 lbs. Can this be fixed?!My boobs are barely bigger and my legs look awful
Answer: Liposuction I would try radiofrequency treatments to tighten the skin first like ThemiTight, which is minimally invasive, or like Secret which in done with micro-needling. You might prefer breast implants for more volume and is much more consistent and predictable than fat.

Answer: Banana rolls Dear ashley012712, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Addressing Posterior Thigh "Banana Rolls" We must consider whether you will need a skin tightening maneuver such as a lateral thigh and buttock tuck that might be required if you have sagging buttock skin. "Banana rolls" are areas that are not typically do not respond well to treatment. One way to overcome that is by improving the frame surrounding the region by providing you the buttock shape that YOU desire. This means using our proprietary Brazilian butt lift (BBL) assessment tool. Our buttock assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Liposuction Several times a day I post about Liposuction on this form and included in almost every single post is the sentence “delivering consistent quality results for the Liposuction is more difficult than people believe.” I also tell people that “Liposuction is permanent and irreversible” As well as to minimize the chance of having an undesirable outcome patients need to choose the most talented and experienced provider in their community. The best way to do that is to have multiple in person consultations at which time patients should demand to see all before and after pictures. Lower extremity liposuction is technically difficult and the banana rule should not be treated. Having patience go in for what seems like such a benign simple procedure like breast fat transfer just to get a little help seems easy enough but patients do not consider the implications of the Liposuction. I’ve taken care of lots of people like yourself. They usually don’t mention the fat transfer part. When things go wrong it’s always the Liposuction though delivering quality fat transfer may be just as difficult. The problem is that fat was inappropriay removed and this had undesirable consequences. Grafting fat back into the area is technically difficult because the area that needs the volume the most is now lacking in host tissue to support fat graft. It may be possible to graft fat back to restore your thigh volume but doing so typically requires multiple procedures. Considering that revision work is many times more difficult than primary work it goes without saying this should only be done by someone who is very talented. Again, the best way to find the most experienced and talented provider is to meet a lot of plastic surgeons and carefully but somewhat aggressively vett each provider during the consultation. Do that to by asking each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for the procedure you’re interested in. For primary procedures an experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you 50 or more sets of before and after pictures. Highly experienced providers will have several hundred. Sing a handful of pre-selected pictures which in fact represent the best results of that providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like. Ask the provider to show examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes and less than outcomes. I also recommend you read all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers for any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than an abundance of positive reviews. You may want to consider sharing your story with others in a fair professional manner by writing a review about your experience. I’m sure other potential patients would be interested in hearing your story. In the end your surgeon is responsible for the outcome of the procedure and you are responsible for choosing that surgeon.
