What is the best way to get rid of nodules that are resistant to hyaluronidase?

I've had hyaluronidase injections twice to try to get rid of nodules from lip filler. My lips look worse each time because the area around the nodules gets smaller but the nodules don't go away. (The filler is from 2 years ago.)

Nodule or bump formation after lip augmentation can happen with any injectable filler. When HA fillers are used, sometimes these bumps get better with the dissolving enzyme and sometimes they don't. If there is a visible nodule in your lip, please consider requesting a dilute steroid injection. If that is not helpful, excision of the nodule in the office with local anesthetic is well tolerated and healing is usually excellent. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
