Nostril asymmetry is a very difficult problem to address during rhinoplasty and absolute symmetry should not be a promise made by your surgeon. However, the only way for you to improve symmetry of your nostrils is through surgery. Seek an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon for assistance.
Hello, Rhinoplasty can adresse both function and aesthetic including breathing and profile shape. It is best for you to consult with a facial plastic surgeon who can examine you and discuss the surgical procedure , outcome and the post op recovery process.
It would be very difficult to give you a meaningful advise based on this single photo. However, one could see that your nose is crooked and your nostrils slightly asymmetric. Only on the basis of in person evaluation, an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon, expert in rhinoplasty, could give you more accurate estimate and propose plan of treatment by means of rhinoplasty. Hope this helps. Good luck
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos It is hard. to make a proper evaluation without enough photos. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. However, the asymmetry between your nostrils can be improved with rhinoplasty surgery. Please keep in mind that %100 symmetry is not achievable in any cases. Best Regards!
What could make a nose look crooked? A nose could look crooked because of a deviated septum, or because of displacement of the nasal bones from their normal position. The former is usually developmental while the latter is usually due to trauma. In some cases it may be a combination of both. At any rate, procedures to straighten a crooked nose include rhinoplasty and septoplasty and in many cases both done in conjunction with each other. If the deviation of the nose is causing asymmetry of the nostrils, there may be partial or full correction of the asymmetry after surgery. However in some cases the nostril asymmetry may be more complicated and require additional procedures.
No, the limited photograph demonstrates a crooked nose, which is best treated with a rhinoplasty procedure. A septoplasty is performed on the internal portion of the nose when there's a blockage of airflow. Nostrils are always asymmetrical, and will continue to be so after the surgery.
