Submuscular silicone implant Capsulorrhaphy gone wrong? What steps should I take to solve this? (photo)

Question

I had silicone breast implants submuscular about a year and a half ago. Both implants started to bottom out and had a capsulorrhaphy surgey done to both sides and it's been almost a month now. However, on my right side, I can feel the ridges of my implant on the other side of my skin without any pressure. My doctor says I'm fine but I do not feel this way. I feel as if is worse than before. What steps should I take to solve this?

Thank you for sharing your excellent question and photographs.  Unfortunately without a full series of photographs, or an in-person examination it will be difficult to offer you any advice as to how your capsulorrhapy has done.  You are still early in your recovery so speak to your surgeon about your concerns.

Thank you for your pictures and questions. Without an in-person exam, it is going to be difficult to give any meaningful answers on a case like this. You are talking about the "feel" and palpability of the implant and without an exam, one cannot assess this situation to discern possible solutions. That being said, you are not even a month out from surgery at this point, so whatever is going on now is bound to change with more time. Try to be patient and follow with your surgeon to discuss your concerns. Expect that it is going to take at least 3 months or maybe more for the final results to be revealed.Best of luck!Dallas R.
