In order to determine the best procedure for you, photos would be very helpful but an in person consultation with physical exam best. Depending upon the severity and relativity compared to the "perfect" right side, fat grafting or an implant will likely be the best options. If the left is significantly smaller, then a buttock implant is the only reliable and predictable long term option (at least in my experience). Glad to help.
Without photos it is difficult to say for certain, but from what you describe, liposuction and fat transfer would likely be your best bet. Good luck!
Without pictures, one cannot say for certain what would be the best option to correct the problem. Grafting fat harvested from somewhere else on your body may be a good option, but if the defect is too great , an implant may be required
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Looks like you could benefit from a fat transfer procedure, but unfortunately, without pictures, it is very difficult to give you a proper answer. The average cost varies a lot depending on the clinic, the country and the plastic surgeon. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
If one area is flat and sunken in, then perhaps fat grafting may help to enhance the buttock to alleviate the depression.
Thank you for this interesting question. I think the right procedure for you would depend on how dramatic is the left buttock concavity and the location of this deformity. I would also like to know if this was congenital or traumatic. You have three options: augment the left side with fat grafting, augment with an implant, or use both techniques if the difference between the two buttocks is very large.
You photos suggest you have normal anatomy. In thin patients there is usually a mild depression laterally where the gluteus muscle is defined at its lateral border near the hip joint.
The gluteal fold, also known as the infragluteal crease or the gluteal sulcus, is a natural anatomical feature that varies among individuals. If you are seeking to alter the appearance of the gluteal fold, it's important to consult with a qualified plastic surgeon who can assess your specific...
Indeed there exists a procedure whereby the buttock fat is kind of folded upon itself to augment the buttock and give it some more perkiness/fullness. This procedure is only done in combination with a buttock lift for patients that have lost massive amounts of weight, like yourself. Glad to help...
I have had the pleasure, in both my general surgery training days as well as my 18 years as a plastic surgeon, reconstructing buttock abnormalities secondary to trauma, surgery, or congenital (birth) defects. Without seeing photos of your husbands anatomic problem, it sounds as though he could...
I would recommend that you consider surgical fat grafting or Sculptra to help fill in the indentation. The advantage of Sculptra is that is a quick office-based procedure and the recovery is very easy. I would visit with a plastic surgeon who has experience with Sculptra for off-face...
Only Kylie is truly privee to answer your question. However, I can tell you this:Regarding buttock augmentation, let me start off by saying that I currently see at least 1 - 2 patients per week that failed "brazilian buttock lift" (i.e. the fat melted away after 10 - 12 months) and are now...
