Is this migrated lip filler? Is it possible to only dissolve the part above the lip? (Photo)

Hi! Some people migrate more quickly than others. This can be due to patient anatomy, injection technique or product choice. If the lip is bothersome to you, I would suggest dissolving rather than adding more product to avoid further migration. The dissolving process takes about 2 weeks, as the dissolving agent sits in the lip for about 2 weeks, and then you can always add more product to replace the volume. It is possible to just inject the border of the lip with the dissolving agent, but me mindful, that it can migrate into the lip as well causing an uneven shape. It is best to meet with the provider who did the procedure to figure out the best course of action and treatment plan!

Your lips look very pretty, however if you do not like the look of the top lip, you can go back to your provider and have them dissolve with Hylenex to achieve your desired look. You typically will want to wait at least a week to put filler back in the lips. It does not seem like a poor injection technique. You could also talk to your provider about the brand of filler that was used and try a different one to see if you like those results better.
