Would lip fillers help with a scar from mucocele removal, or would something else be recommended? (Photos)

It has been shown in some scientific articles that injection of fat micro and nano grafts into a fresh or chronic scar may significantly change size and appearance of the scar. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure would help. Good luck.

I don’t think that anyone would even see the scar you are referring to. The only reason you’re paying attention to it is because you know that’s existence. I wouldn’t do anything. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City for surgery.

There are situations that justify intervention or treatments.
In some circumstances, applying quality treatment can have a spectacular impact.
And your case I don’t see an indication for treatment, nor do I believe that treatment would be beneficial.
If you took your last picture and asked 10 people to point out the problem no one would guess where the problem was.
Perhaps you see an issuethat bothers you, but I can assure you the rest of the world does not.
Fillers generally do not do a great job of treating volume loss from previous procedures or injury.
The main reason for this is scar tissue, which prevents fillers to create ideal contour.It’s hard to tell, but generally speaking, removing a mucoce should not create a volume deficit.
