Had 2x mucocele excisions leaving a large scar. Had a scar revision over a year ago. Still sad about how my lip looks now (asymmetrical, scarred, hole). As you can see, I'm missing a lot of volume. It's been a couple years now since the second mucocele excision, and over a year since the scar revision.

As a general rule, fillers, do not migrate, they’re poorly injected. Migration of fillers occurs when they injected Into the tear troughs or in two large an amount that gets pushed out into adjacent area by tissue density. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery.
It should not matter! Although you should be mindful that if you're still bleeding from the lips/injection sites that you might want to take it easy so you're not mixing blood with the contents of your mouth.
I'm not sure how to explain what you are seeing, but I think it is unrelated to the filler. By a year, most of the filler has likely resorbed. It could be some sort of delayed inflammatory reaction, but again would be unusual 1 year out, unless you have been ill recently which can activate the...
