I got 6 times of V Beam treatment for the redness caused by CO2 resurface laser 2 years ago. It didn't work, what can I do?

The VBEAM laser should work to decrease redness but the settings, type of technique, and interval of treatment can affect results. Your doctor may be treating you conservatively, thus, you may need more treatments. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

I had the VBeam and now have the Excel V laser.  I has 5 times the affinity for reds then does the VBeam.  I would try this laser.  It is more effective but has more swelling than the VBeam.

The majority of redness following CO2 can be treated with PDL i.e.. V BEAM with a short pulse duration. This is because the rebound redness is associated with vvv small blood vessels. I usually use a 3 ms pulse width, then drop to 1.5. It s all in the power and pulse duration.
