I have two doctors, one is doing the steroid injections and the other is doing the v beam. Does the order matter?

These are for my keloids. I'm sure you're wondering why I have 2 doctors, long story short one is better with the injections and the other is the only person in town with a v beam. Is there a more effective order or does it not matter, which treatment I first?

Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. It is a safe procedure that can be used at varying depths to help treat micro blood vessels in the skin. We also use it in our office for facial skin inflammation, keloids, and hypertrophic scarring. It is an important part of scar therapy. Vbeam can be combined with chemical peels and other lasers, but experience with the treatment is essential. The Vbeam laser does not affect deeper tissue. yes, vbeam should be done first and then steroid injections.  the steroid injections work better with 5FU added.  you should be seeing an expert in scars for treatments and should limit the treatments to one physician.  Best, Dr. Emer.
