Which is better for pubic hair removal, IPL or laser? How many sessions are required?

Removal. Laser Hair Removal focuses on just the hair and will usually give you a
long lasting result if you complete the recommended sessions. After you are done
with your sessions, a touch up appointment is needed at least once a year.

Both systems are effective for treatment of unwanted hair.  For fair skin and brown hair, you have the perfect combination for effective treatment with either system.  Our office has both systems and quite frankly we find we are trending toward more Excel HR as this system can switch between both 755 and 1064 in a moments notice allowing us to treat all skin types and through a tan, but before we added the laser, I found IPL was effective with a similar number of treatments.  Get started now!  October is not that far away!

Congratulations on the upcoming marriage!  It sounds like you are an ideal candidate for either laser or IPL for hair removal.  In our experience, lasers are more effective, and for you a diode would be ideal.  It attracts to the pigment of the hair to channel to the follicle.  It typically takes a series of 6 treatments to get after the various growth cycles, and potentially a couple of touch up treatments, so you are getting started just at the right time.  Remember, it is best to find a facility that has a Board Certified physician onsite.
