IPL booked for today...should I postpone IPL session until Caribbean vacation in 4 weeks is over?

It is best to rescedule your treatment for at least two weeks after you return from vacation. To be sure, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. It is best to avoid the sun for 3-4 weeks prior to treatment and after treatment it is best to avoid sun exposure/tanning in treated areas until the redness has resolved.  Although the redness should be gone by your wedding, lesions (brown spots, red spots) usually are resolved in 21-30 days.
