Hello, I am looking for some opinions on whether or not what I want to achieve with my nose is a reasonable expectation. I don’t mind my nose from the front, but the side is what really bothers me. I have a very sharp nose and the tip projects from my face quite far. I would like to have a more feminine looking nose from the side, with a reduced tip and maybe not so much of a 45 degree angle. Is it possible to reduce and slightly lift the tip without changing the shape a ton from the front?

It looks like you have thin skin so I can tell you that you can get the shape you are looking for :)The projection of the nose can be corrected with rhinoplasty surgery, to give a better curve and more feminine look. From the front there won't be a big change since the dorsum is already in good shape

Yes, it is possible to perform a rhinoplasty that makes the nose smaller with minimal (but not zero) changes to the view from the front. You may be a candidate for a preservation rhinoplasty. Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. You nose can be made smaller, with a lesser projection from the side. The front view will change a little, but not drastically. It is important to find an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon that can do computer imaging at the same time to give you an idea of what you would like.

bBased on your photos, you appear to have an over projected nasal appearance our 2/3 of your nose on profile. Rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a less distracting profile nasal appearance. Yes, the changes you want can be made with surgical rhinoplasty. The tip of your nose can be de-projected, slightly rotated and made less pointy. The shape of your nose from front view will not change significantly.

Deprojecting a nasal tip: most rhinoplasty results are predominantly reflected in the profile. It is very common to perform a rhinoplasty without significantly changing the front view. Deprojecting a nasal tip is tricky but can be done. making it less pointy however is more difficult since this often involves the addition of materials which could change, warp or disintegrate over time.
