in my practice the waist is considered one area in the charge would be $1000-$1500 depending on the anesthetic used.
If you're looking for sculpting of only the love handles then the cost will be somewhere between $4000-$6000. Anything less than this is likely going to be less of a result.
Liposuction of the love handles with regard to cost and result will vary greatly. I would search for thesurgeon who youfeel is most likely to give youthe best results and who performs hundreds of these procedures eachyear. I would look at reviews and before and after pictures on thatsurgeon's website. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Price varies and so does quality. In general, I would stay away from providers advertising deals that seem too good to be true. There are often fine print bait-and-switch offers. That said, paying more is no guarantee the quality of work will be better. I rarely liposuction the waist and hips without doing the upper and lower abdomen. It's almost always done as "full abdomen".For most patients, that is four areas. This is necessary because each area blends into the area next to it. Liposuctioning only the flanks creates an unnatural fat distribution.Depending on where you have your work done, prices may vary from $1,000-$3,000 per area. I think $1,500 per area plus a facility and possible anesthesia fee is a very fair price when three or more areas are treated.I prefer to do liposuction using conscious sedation, thereby avoiding general anesthesia. It's usually easily tolerated and has many benefits. Relying only on a pain pill can leave some patients challenged if the procedure is done correctly. Our facility fee is typically around $1,000 per hour. That's for a fully accredited operating room in a hospital. To me, that offers the highest level of safety and access to the best equipment. My practice is devoted almost entirely to SmartLipo. That said, I don't believe my results or patients' healing timeframes are significantly different than with non-laser liposuction. Don't put too much credence in the hype and spin. Do pay close attention to the experience of the surgeon, proper training in plastic surgery, honest demeanor and online reviews. Consider consulting with several plastic surgeons. That was a little more than just price. I hope it helped.A total package for $6,500 is reasonable. Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
