Am I a candidate for a neck lift or a S Lift? I am in my 30s and have had 4 children. Due to the weight gain and loss I have developed a turkey neck with minimal fat. I am very active and at a healthy Bmi. I've already spent a fortune on renuvion and bodytite but neither treatments have solved my problem
Answer: Neck lift Yes, you are a candidate for deep plane neck lift, which will allow your surgeon to address the following: excess subplatysmal fat (deep fat below the platysma muscle), submandibular gland partial excision/contouring, and re-draping of the neck skin to precisely follow the new, deeper cure of your neck, and platysma muscle repair to correct the vertical bands in your photos.

Answer: Neck lift vs S Lift Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. The images that you have uploaded show predominantly skin laxity. In general, you can try to make a decision about the best treatment for you with these two tests: - If you lie down completely flat and look in the mirror and you feel that the appearance of the neck is fine, it is quite likely that an S left or deep plane short scar facelift word give you a similar outcome. If you feel that there is still some volume excess you would like to get rid of, and neck lift would be more suitable. - If you take up profile photograph looking slightly downwards as if you were checking something on your phone, and there is significant volume excess apart from the laxity, deep plane neck lift procedure the more effective to address your concerns. Without doubt, some consultations in person are likely to give you more depth of understanding of your options.

Answer: Why a neck lift may be right for you Thank you for submitting your question and photos. You appear to be a candidate for a neck lift to address the turkey neck appearance you’re referring to. By trimming away excess skin and lifting the deeper tissue instead of only correcting the outer layers, a smooth, natural-looking contour can be achieved with long-lasting results. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to discuss your concern with you and determine the best approach to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

Answer: Skin Tightening for the Neck -- Kybella, Ultherapy, PDO NovaThreads, Thermage vs VASER Lipo w/ ThermiRF, Neck Lift A combination of non-surgical options like Kybella, PDO NovaThreads, Ultherapy and Thermage would do well in combination for skin tightening for the neck. VASER Liposuction (with ThermiRF, Renuvion and InMode FaceTite) is a great alternative for contouring and tightening the chin and neck and can be combined with a neck lift at the same time, if you're a candidate. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to develop a long-term treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Deep plane neck lift A deep plane neck lift focuses on more than the superficial fat and platysma. The subcutaneous and superficial fat is what liposuction will focus on. The nonsurgical modalities will focus on the dermal elasticity and will have a very modest result. A board certified plastic surgeon can guide you through selecting the appropriate treatment plan to meet your needs. A deep plane neck lift will address the submandibular gland, digastric muscles and interdigastric fat. The superficial fat and platysma will also be addressed accordingly. This is a comprehensive approach to making sure that you have a good neck contour and "cervicomental" angle! Hope that helps! Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
