Would a rhinoplasty help with my long face and close set eyes? (Photo)

I’ve always felt something was off about my face specifically my eye area, and recently somebody pointed out that my eyes are really close together. I think it’s mostly because my midface is quite long and my cheekbones are wide. Would a rhinoplasty be able to help or is there another procedure that would be more beneficial to my eye area?

I would say, without an “in person” consultation and examination I feel that it’s very difficult to assess how a nose will change the appearance of your facial dimensions due to the fact that other facial features of yours are long and a nose job can actually exacerbate your problem. Your side profile would have to be assessed as well. Though narrowing your nasal bone may widen your narrow-set eyes, it may well make your face appear longer.

I would suggest an “in person” consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with a good eye.

Rhinoplasty and your face: A Rhinoplasty will not change the appearance of the closeness of your eyes or the length of your face. If you have issues with your nose itself a rhinoplasty is often worthwhile, but if you have issues with other features the rhinoplasty will not help those.
