Nicotine day of & during Botox for jaw

Question

I am trying to quit smoking and had 2 Nicolette lozenges in the morning (eq 3 cigarettes) & was having 1 lozenge (Eq 1.5 cigarettes) during my jaw Botox appointment. I just realised this might affect the treatment. Will this have any adverse effects? Other than that I am healthy etc.

having nicotine will not impair your treatment.  However smoking cigarettes and nicotine use does impair healing. Avoiding nicotine/smoking during any procedure that causes trauma to the skin or body should be priority.

Nicotine will not have any detrimental effects on your Botox or Dysport for masseter reduction treatment, nor will it affect the duration of the neuromodulation.

In my opinion, there should be no adverse effect of taking nicotine lozenges around your Botox treatment for your jaw.
