Question

So it’s been a while since I’ve had my child. My ex has made me very insecure about my stomach and to be honest I’m not a fan of it. I’m a skinny girl that doesn’t work out and probably never will so please don’t suggest it as when I did work out it actually made my stomach look worse as it made the skin looseness more obvious. I’m in my late thirties and would love an affordable option of laser to get the maximum results. I did Thermage years ago and no success.

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Hello there. In all honesty you have already wasted money on thermage, and if you continue to try laser or minimally invasive options you will be minimally satisfied and will waste even more money. I would recommend a full standard tummy tuck and liposuction.

If you are looking for optimal results you will want to consider a tummy tuck.  This will address excess fat and skin as well as correct abdominal wall laxity.  Stretch marks located below your belly button will be removed.  The result will be a flatter, tighter tummy.

Thank you for your question. Im sorry that you feel bad about your stomach. I would recommend going in for a coolsculpting consultation. If you fit in the applicator, it could be a good option to remove the fat cells and the portion that you do not like. It will not firm the skin or laxity, but can help permanently reduce the fat cells in that area.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photo, I note that you appear to demonstrate a full abdomen associated with moderate stretch marks and either a small hanging lower abdominal pannus or a tight fitting garment.A full abdomen may be caused by fatty tissue excess (requiring liposuction), anterior abdominal muscle separation, occurring as result of pregnancy or obesity (requiring abdominoplasty) or the presence of internal visceral fat (requiring a regimen of diet and exercise). A physical examination is required to differentiate among these entities.Stretch marks indicate the presence of permanently damaged overstretched skin usually occurring during pregnancy or significant weight fluctuation where when pregnant or overweight, the skin's dermal elastic fibers rupture, resulting in the loss of elasticity (similar to an old rubber band) and the development of streaks on the skin surface. The skin will stretch over a greater surface area and will predispose to further sagging.The stretching is most likely responsible for the hanging abdominal pannus.You appear to represent an abdominoplasty candidate.
