Look at it this way, after having gone through a hair transplant procedure, and all that it entails, you will want to do everything you can to maintain the hair you have. The general consensus is that MOST hair transplant surgeons use finasteride. Finasteride inhibits the production of dihydrotesterone (DHT). DHT causes hair loss. Hair transplantation can permanently treat affected areas, but finasteride can help support remaining non-transplated hairs.
