I hear that the Vaser recovery process range between 3-12 months altogether. Does the swelling fluctuate during this time? For example, if you do not experience much initial swelling, is it possible to start experiencing swelling on your third month? Or for example, if your initial swelling has gone down , but several months later it comes back?

Answer: Swelling after liposuction VASER is simply an ultrasound treatment done before liposuction. The recovery of this form of liposuction is no different than any other form of liposuction. What may make liposuction take longer is the aggressive nature of the actual Liposuction and this has little to do with the ultrasound treatment done immediately before with VASER. Most patients see 75% of final results with mild swelling at six weeks. At three months time is not going to change results and any firmness from scar tissue will not change beyond six months. Patients should not see fluctuating swelling after three months from the procedure other than natural changes in swelling due to physiological changes such as hormone changes or salt consumption.
