Am I a Vaser 4D lipo and renuvion candidate? (Photos)

Question

I've had 3 kids and 2 c-sections before. So a slight overhang. Posted a pic when I was. Slimmer last year. Pre lockdown. I'm just worried I might not get the desired results from lipo alone? But don't really want a massive scar. I've been told I'd be suitable for both. Help please?

you may need skin removal if you have loose skin, especially on the thighs, but I sugggest you consult because you maybe good candidate for lipo + renuvion (internal heating).

my whole practice is doing lipoabdominoplasty, or at least liposuction with internal heating (which is not the gold standard for skin tightening with body contouring).

the smaller you are before liposuction the more contouring you can get from the procedure. most of my liposuction patients get pre and post surgical optimization with hormonal therapy (see link to help boost their weight loss before surgery and help them heal after).

You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.

Hi thanks for your enquiry and photos. According to the pictures, in my opinion the most suitable option should be tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty) and Vaser liposuction on flanks and possibly back area. I am Vaser lipo surgeon and not specialist in abdominoplasty procedure however I work in collaboration with plastic surgeons specialised in this procedure. The key here is to understand what you would like to achieve, what are your expectations. In my clinical practice, if a patient refuses to undergo for tummy tuck surgery, then after a careful medical assessment, they could be a possible candidate for Vaser lipo for the circumferential torso, abdomen, flanks and lower back in order to improve the overall silhouette and body contour. The combination of Vaser lipo with J plasma- Renuvion will allow to increase the probability of skin tightening. My experience is not only fat removal but also body contouring. Compression garments, manual lymphatic drainage sessions after the surgery and healthy diet and exercise can also help. However, your saggy/excess skin and in the abdomen and possible "mucle separation" will not improve and so if you are unhappy after 4-6 months then you should consider surgical treatment to remove the excess of loose skin. The above approach (Circumferential body Vaser lipo) is an option for many women who want to improve their body contour/silhouette with less scars and avoid tummy tuck. 
In surgery, the results are not guarantee 100%. 
I would strongly suggest to make a consultation with an expert Vaser/ body contouring surgeon for a medical/surgical assessment in order to consider the best suitable treatment.

When assessing and abdomen we look at for variables. These are skin laxity, excessive amounts of subcutaneous fat, muscle separationcalled diastases recti and lastly excessive amounts of intra-abdominal or visceral fat.

Pregnancy related changes our skin laxity and muscle separation. These are best treated with a full tummy tuck.

My first hand experience with Renuvion was dismal. I literally saw zero actual skin tightening and have since sold the device.

People with skin laxity should avoid high definition, etching type Liposuction procedures.  The high definition work work can shift with the skin laxity and look more deformed and then mimic muscle definition.

Either accept the limited results from well done liposuction which can be fairly good or have a definitive definitive correct procedure which is a full tummy tuck.
