Nonsurgical rhinoplasty can be used to reshape the nose by adding volume to the nose (typically with a facial filler such as Restylane or Voluma). With regards to the tip of the nose, some degree of refinement is possible to reduce the appearance of bulbosity or width of the tip of the nose, but this is limited by the thickness and extensibility of the tip skin. Often the tip skin will only allow for a certain amount of projection and refinement with fillers. Strategic placement will often allow for rotation of the tip of the nose, but counter-rotation, or lengthening the nose, is often not possible to any significant degree with nonsurgical rhinoplasty.
Yes, you can add filler to the tip to give it more definition. You should see a surgeon in your area who does these procedures.
Dear Angie in Sidney; It’s hard to tell without photographs, but depending on the thickness of the skin, the strength of the cartilage, andthe overall anatomy and relationships between the nose and the lips and cheeks,it may be possible for you to have some improvement with injections to the nasaltip. If you want to increase the lengthof the nose and sharpness, I would say that's a reasonable thing toconsider. You want to have the Kotler saline demotechnique. Other surgeons, includingthose in Australia, certainly could master that technique because you want to see the results,in three dimensions in a mirror.Non-surgical rhinoplasty works because tiny drops of Silikon 1000 are injected just under the nasal skin. Over time, the body walls off those drops with new tissue which provides the plumping action to fill in divots or marks in the nose. The same effect can happen with plain salt water to provide a preview how the nose will look on completion of treatment. The Kotler Saline Demo lasts perhaps two hours, but long enough to take a photo of what the finished nose will look like.Best wishes.Robert Kotler, MD, FACS
Unfortunately, there are no magic pills or creams to make your nose smaller. Seek out a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon for an in-person consultation to discuss your options. I wish you well!
Fillers can be placed in the pre maxilla, it would take a lot of material to be injected, and would probably be cost prohibitive. In addition, it will only be a temporary augmentation. To augment the pre maxilla , cartilage graft, bone graft or synthetic implants are used. A droopy tip is also ...
If you use a filler that simulate collagen like Artefill or Radiesse or Silcone you can develop a "scar" under the skin that gives a more permanent like result. I used to do these types of fillers, and patients who later want rhinoplasty/nose jobs are likely to need more extensive or...
