I seem to have a bump on the right side of my nose only... When I turn to the left, it's no longer noticeable. What is going on here? What can be done to fix it? Are there any non-surgical options? Thank you in advance.
Answer: Nonsurgical rhinoplasty to soften profile and improve symmetry of the nose If your goal is to soften and improve the appearance of the "bump" in a safe but albeit temporary manner, then yes this can be achieved with nonsurgical rhinoplasty. Some of the convexity is due to the visibility of your nasal bone, and some of it is the narrowing of the middle vault (or the middle third) of your nose. Without a frontal view, the degree of septal deviation is difficult to accurately assess. Consultation with a rhinoplasty specialist with experience in nonsurgical rhinoplasty will help you determine if the amount of improvement possible with nonsurgical rhinoplasty is enough for you to pursue it.

Answer: Liquid Rhinoplasty Thank you for your question and pictures. You seem to have asymmetrical nasal bones. This could possibly be camouflaged with a small amount of injectable filler. To be sure, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have these treatments. I hope this helps.

Answer: Dorsal hump removal on one side Hump removal is a surgical procedure, and cannot be addressed with nonsurgical methods. The dorsal hump is composed of both bone and cartilage and must be shaved down in order to remove it. The photograph demonstrates a hump on one side, in addition to a inwardly deviated upper lateral cartilage on the same side which gives the illusion of the hump being even higher. To address these issues, the hump will need to be shaved down and a spreader graft composed of the patient's own cartilage inserted underneath the concave upper lateral cartilage on the same side. The rhinoplasty procedure is performed under general anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. For many examples of hump removal, please see the link below

Answer: Bump on the nose Dear Yahyoubetchaa,You may be able to put filler (i.e, Juvederm) into the side where you have the bump. What is most likely happening is that you may have a slightly deviated septum or possibly a bony spur on the side that you see a bump. I suggest that seek out a well-qualified facial plastic surgeon and he or she may be able to use filler to camouflage the bump that you see. This could be done nonsurgically and should be done in less than 15 minutes.
