What are the consequences of treating the same area twice? I believe this happened to the left side of my upper abdomen

Hi and thank you for your question! I wasn't sure if I understood correctly - whether you had the same areas treated in two separate treatment sessions or treated twice at the same visit. There shouldn't be any concern with the former case as we commonly recommend patients to treat the same area 2-3 time for optimal results (with treatments spaced 6 weeks apart). If you had the same area treated twice at the same visit by mistake, I still don't think you will suffer any long lasting consequences, but to be on safe side, I recommend doing follow ups with your physician for an accurate assessment. Levenia,No need to worry. It is not uncommon to feel  nodules in one area and not another. If an area was treated twice at the same visit, you will be fine but you can always follow up with your provider to discuss your concerns.Best to you,
