Had 1ml Juvederm filler 5 weeks ago. Bottom lip, left side is burning/tingling sensation constantly sore when touched. It looks/feels like the filler has seeped lower then my lip into my skin. Seeing my injector next week have been told this is a normal occurrence. Bottom lip is now uneven and told the filler will be taken out and I need to pay for more. Wanting opinions, i feel she has made my lips uneven, I’ve been told you signed the paper, you have to pay to fix it. Is this normal practise?

Thank you for your question. This is just a bruise. It will go away with time. I would ice, take no NSAIDS, dont drink alcohol. Finding an injector that does cannula technique instead could avoid bruising significantly. Hope this helps, Dr. Thuy Doan. ATL
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to comment without your before images but it appears as if your left upper lip is not elevating with your attempts at smiling. The Botox that was injected may have affected not the muscle running around the mouth but rather the one responsible for...
Yes its important to let your injector know about this immediately - If there is a serious eye complication they should have a protocol in place with this to minimise any problems, but treatment needs to be done rapidly if required.
