I see absolutely no reason not to go swimming one day before surgery, but stay away from pools,oceans, jacuzzi's for at least 6 weeks after surgery to avoid any infection. Consult with your PS for instructions.

I see no reason you could not go swimming in the ocean before your procedure. Why don’t you send your doctor and email and ask him or her.
