Can I apply Minoxidil on a full beard? Would the existing hair go away?

my right side beard is good but i have a problem with my left side its so weak ..there is patchiness. i wanna know if i use minoxidil on my both sides... would any thing happen to my existing hair ??? thanks.....

you can apply minoxidil on beards, but sometimes transplantation or PRP/progesterone injections are better.  Please see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Hello, David.You can, for sure, use minoxidil in your beard.Your existing hair will not fall.It will take approx. 3 months for it to start to work and 8-10 months to see what it is really going to do.Be consistent and you will get good results.Best of lucks!!!

Minoxidil is not indicated for beard, however if you want to try it you can. The best option for beard hair is hair transplant done by a hair restoration specialist.

You can try minoxidil on your beard but this may not produce more than peach fuzz hair. Try it and see what happens.
