Swelling after beard transplant (8 months after)

Got a beard transplant 8 months ago, the swelling I have is not that much but when I smile I still see my cheeks too big, is it gonna go away? (I have called my clinic in spain and they have closed so I don't have any option on visiting my doctor) thanks

If you believe the absence of your beard hair is NOT an genetic issue, then you may want to see a doctor for an examination.  Because facial hair (beard hair) is a genetic trait.  Just because your father and brother has a full beard does not mean you will have a full beard.

There should be no issue in using beard oil three months after surgery. If you are concerned it is always a good idea to ask your doctor.

In my opinion, minoxidil can be used on the beard area. There are no studies to substantiate the extent of improvement. This is an FDA off-label indication . We have seen patients develop a thicker hair follicle. Please be aware that minoxidil on the face is irritating. I would start with a 5% ...

You cannot expect "density" after two months. Your results will not likely show for another 6 to 12 months.

You can sleep normally on the same night after FUE surgery. Even if it is a beard transplant. If there were special issues it is best to contact and ask your doctor.
