Will a UTI and a yeast infection stop me from getting a BBL? My WBC and urine keep coming back abnormal

Antibiotics are usually recommended because untreated UTIs can potentially cause serious problems if they're allowed to spread. UTIs are normally treated with a short course of antibiotics. Even minor infections can severely increase the risks of complications during and after surgery. Because of this, most surgeons will wait to perform surgery until after an infection resolves.

Dear desdarling,
every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. You should be healthy prior to surgery. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

You should not have an active urinary tract infection at the time of surgery. I suggest you talk to your plastic surgeon as soon as possible and let him or her now so that they can plan accordingly.
