I just had round 2 Brazilian Butt Lift with 65O cc each. First time 850 for a total of 1500. What can I do? (photos)

It's hard to always remember the right way to recover after surgery, but this is generally what I tell my patients.A high fat, high calorie diet is recommended for 3 months following surgery - this keeps fat cells nourishedAvoid sitting on your buttocks completely for 10 days after surgery, and minimize sitting for an additional week thereafter - this minimizes pressure on the fat, allow new blood vessels to grow and keep them aliveWhen you are able to sit 10 days postoperatively, use a bolster behind your thighs when sitting to alleviate pressure from your buttocks.Your doctor's instructions may vary, so I'd obviously check with his or her office. I think you have to give it time to heal, and you should check with your surgeon to determine what post-op care he prefers.

Thank you for your question and photos.  You will need to follow the advice of your surgeon to ensure the best result.  I tell my patients to not sit on their buttocks' directly for two weeks following surgery.  After surgery, you can lose up to 30% of the volume that was injected into the buttocks, so please follow the post-op protocol closely to give the best result.All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
