Cheek filler can't be dissolved after four times of hyalurondaise injections. Will fillers help reduce nasolabial line? (photo)

You had only 0.5 cc Juvederm (1 syringe is 0.8 cc, not 1.0 cc) in each CHEEK, but you are not happy with your smile line (nasolabial line)? if you wanted the smile line reduced you would have been better off getting those treated and not have such a small volume injected into cheeks which would have very if any effect on NL folds. At this point, you have dissolved your own natural collagen to a much greater extent than the HA you had injected and I would expect sagging of cheeks and deepening of the NL folds. what you did by doctor shopping and had 4 treatments to dissolve HA (component of collagen) may have done more harm than good. Are you dealing with OCD or anxiety that contributed to this course of action?

Hi ZiWei Yang,0.5mL Filler Injection to the Cheek is actually quite a small amount relative to the area it was injected to (cheeks) and is probably hard to locate due to its amount, hence the Hyaluronidase Injection may not have been injected exactly where the filler is, that's why it doesn't work.Your nasolabial fold will improve with fat transfer or additional fillers. Further attempt of filler injection to increase your malar area should be done correctly and strategically as it may further result to having plumper cheeks.
