Sorry to hear about your lip situation.  Injections in the lip do require a thoughtful assessment and a deep understanding of the anatomy.  If you are still swollen, then this will subside.  If the volume of the lip continues to subside over the next few days, you may find some of the anatomical landmarks return.  However, lip injections can contribute to distortion of the normal anatomy if not done with thoughtful consideration of what your enhancing.  If you continue to find you are unhappy after another week or so, then I would consider going to a plastic surgeon on dermatologist who does a great deal of lips in their practice, and who also have experience in dissolving previous injections.

It is common to get swelling after fillers into the lips. It is not normal to have irregularities or severe swelling. If you are unhappy you should speak to your physician and have the area injected with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that reverses the hyaluronic acid filler. For the next injections, consider Restylane Silk with cannula injection, this technique will limit the pain, swelling or bruising after the filler placement. It can take up to 2 weeks to see the final result of Juvederm treatment to the lips, and the remainder of the swelling should resolve by that time.
