I was injected with 3syringes of Juvederm Voluma XC in just the cheek area/under eye area(not the tear trough). The area was overfilled and the filler was placed too close to my eyes making my cheeks look puffy, wide and too high. Though, I have had some of it dissolved, my facial shape doesn't seem to be going back to pre-filler shape. My face appears extremely wide right under the eye/cheek area. Has the excessive filler stretched out my skin and caused permanent change in shape?

Thank you for your question. It is very common for the lips to look
over corrected or fake the next day. This is due to all the swelling
that ensues. I often tell my patients that this
is the "oh my gosh" day. It can be 'oh my gosh' my lips are so
swollen! It could also be 'oh my gosh'...
I always tell my patients to not love their filler
injections for 2 weeks. Swelling is very common and sometimes immediate. It can
last 3-7 days and a good idea is to use cold compresses. Cold compresses may be
used immediately after treatment to reduce swelling only if needed. This may...
It is still way to early to be concerned about results. Wait until 10 days. Not enough filler was injected to make a significant change IMO. Wait before going back to see your doc.
